[The video is facing away from Moa's face, and towards an overstuffed binder. In the corners of the screen you can see other things: what looks like a clunky, old version of the communicators; a small pile of old posters advertising various things; a dead and dried rose. A few of the things brought back from the Spero trip.

Moa begins to speak. She sounds like she's keeping her voice very level and devoid of emotion.]

Green died on the way back from Spero. She was very sick, and she ended up drawing a gun. I'm sorry.

We saw a lot of things. And we brought back most of it, too. [Pause.] I want to show you this first.

[Then her hands are reaching out to the binder, which she opens to the first page and then slowly goes through, letting the camera record all of it. Here under "Binder" is all the information she is showing. Through it she makes no comments.

When we reach the last of it, she slowly closes the book and sets it down.]

...Minato, do you think I could come see you?

[The video turns off.

After a few moments something is added to the message.

I'm sorry. And - ....and I know...everyone else is...not going to be sorry. But I...I am.

I... didn't...want this to happen.

[ooc: I didn't see anyone else claiming the binder, so it is in inventory for public consumption, along with the communicator with the apple recording (henceforth to be known as the applecator!). She'll let you look at them if you want to come over.]

[He glances up when he hears the knock, smiling at the door sadly. He's sitting on his best, a scroll with what looks like calculations on his lap. (Something regarding a technique of one type or another, but not nearly as nerdy as Donatello's notes probably are.)]

[She nudges the door open and then closes it, without saying anything. The sadness right now is less of a need-to-cry and more of a thinking-too-much.

But she will give him a sad puppy face. And then flop next to him and lean on him.]

[When she flops next to him, there is an arm that lifts up to fall gently over her shoulders. She's one of those that he's learned to hug. Not everyone gets hugs from Minato, as friendly as he is.

The present makes him grin widely, and he reaches to take it with his free hand.]

Moa... You shouldn't have....

[But it's obvious that it makes him very, very happy.]

[She's the sort who needs a lot of snuggles. And who's snuggleable, despite the skinny poky elbows.

She looks up at his face, watches the happiness bloom on it. And for a moment she feels just a little better.]

Yeah I did. [pause.] You're my dad.

[Minato pulls her closer, then, in a tight hug.

If his eyes are a little brighter than usual... you're seeing things.]

Thank you, Moa...

[Manly men like Minato don't cry, amirite? After a moment her hug becomes just as tight. She's old enough to know that parents can't make everything better, and feels older than she is, but....maybe for a little bit, it will help. And maybe not everything about this trip ended up bad.]

[That hug will continue for as long as she'll allow it, too.

They both need it.]

[Minato has so many people staying over sometimes that it isn't funny.]

... Of course. I wouldn't mind a bit.

[He should start charging. Moa gets in free, of course.]
