He's a guy from my world. He's ancient, I mean it--he was supposed to die a few hundred years back. So he knows a lot of stuff because he's lived so long.

Uhhhh. He used magic you're really not supposed to use on himself. So nothing can kill him, but he's always getting older. He looks a little like a mummy.

...I think I have just figured out Johnny's Halloween costume.

It's...okay, this might sound a little gross, but it's a corpse that's been soaked in some embalming stuff or whatever and then wrapped in bandages. Then it'll stay intact after a couple thousand years and just get all dried up like a raisin. Roger Bacon looks a little like what you'd see under the bandages.

Uh...I don't know why they wanted to keep the body, actually. Probably had something to do with the afterlife, but I don't have a clue past that. Maybe someone else here knows about that.
